These hexagonal Female-to-Female Nylon spacers have an M3 thread and are available in 4 different lengths; 8mm, 10mm, 12.7mm, and 20mm, and have a diameter of 6.6mm (5.5mm across the flats). These spacers are ideal for mounting , positioning and holding parts within an assembly and creating layered structures from rigid materials such as and . All options are supplied in packs of 100.
The spacers are made from Nylon 6, which is; non-conductive, resistant to hot and cold temperatures, much lighter than metal, resistant to corrosion, high in tensile strength, impact resistant, and has excellent abrasion resistance. Although their main use is to separate or create space between two joined objects, they can also be used for things such as bushings. When used with PCB's, the air gap can contribute to natural air cooling, and make it easy for fans to cool parts.
