It can be filled with compost for sowing directly into the tray, or can be filled with smaller pots, seed trays, or multi-cell inserts. The base tray is made from recycled plastic and does not feature drainage holes. A clear lid is included in the set which can be used to turn the tray into a mini-greenhouse and help keep your seedlings warm in this crucial stage of their life. The lid also features adjustable vents to allow for climate control.
